"It" Original movie - 1990 was a....

This is SO off topic. But can someone PLEASE back me up and prove that the MOVIE "It", based on the Stephen King novel, was, IN FACT, a movie released in 1990, and NOT a freaking MINI-SERIES!!! This is a huge debate going on in my office right now. We are completely divided on this subject. You look it up on Google, and it will say that it was a mini-series, but half of us remember it as a movie. Or can someone please explain why there is so much confusion!!?? Lmao I'm literally so frustrated with this.
