How effective towards the end of the 3 month trail? My body feels different I'm sick like I'm pregnant and bleed off and on all of august and already almost all of September and it's not a period in site it seems Or I'm having them constantly. Been on it since May/June

I strongly suggest natural family planning. After seeing how bad birth control can mess you up, I chose to never take any birth control ever again.

Also, I'm not sure if it's actually any indication of effectiveness, but the one thing I found in common with anyone I ever heard got pregnant on it was that they still got their period while on it. I did not get my period at all for the whole year and a half.

My sister was on it and went to the ER a few times because she thought she was having a heart attack (chest pain, left arm pain). It turns out, that was her body's reaction when she was about due for her next shot

Depo Provera needs to be removed from the market. It's really hard on your body and takes away from your calcium stores in your spine. I was in it for a year and a half and it messed me all up.
Weight gain, due to never feeling full, crazy mood swings, migraines, oh lord, it was bad. All of the side effects of feeling pregnant without actually being pregnant, pretty much. It was awful.

I was on it for about a year. It was awful. Messed my periods up. They've been different ever since. I bled randomly while taking it, especially when I had sex. I'd start bleeding like I was in the middle of my period. It was terrible. I don't recommend it
