If I changed baby name, is it bad that I changed it to something I new future SIL wanted to use for her daughter?

Ok before you judge it was unintentional. When I was about 25wks pregnant she sent me a text of what I was going to name baby. I texted back and said Alyssa Brielle but wasn't sure and it could always change since I still had time she said omg how cute and what not. Left it at that. About a week later our mutual friend text me that if it was ok if when SIL had a daughter she could name her Brielle as a first name. My husband and I said sure that's fine. We talked and agreed that it would be her daughter and could name her whatever she want. So after much discussion with my family and suggestions and personal preferences I've decided to go with Brielle Alexandra and forgot until baby shower when family kept referring to baby as Brielle. She later asked to confirm that it was still my first choice and I politely said no we changed our minds to this name. Since then she's been distant and can't help but think it's because I changed the name to Brielle. My husband and I are torn if we should change but it's not like I did it on purpose it was already a name I liked it just so happened she liked the same name. I guess she figured by our friend mentioning that she wanted to use it I would steer away but the other thing she's not even married yet with no kids. She's said it herself she won't try to get pregnant until she's done with school so that's 3-4 yrs from now.. what should I do?

You didn't steal the name from her. She's not having a baby, you are. I understand why she might be a little hurt, but if she really loves the name, she can use it too. I don't see why cousins can't have the same name. It may be a little strange but nicknames can help. There are two Rebekahs in my family (my aunt and my sister) and one goes by Becky and the other by Bekah. 
Also I'm kind of in a similar situation with my sister. When my husband and I were first TTC we made a list of names, among which is Adelaide. Like a year later my sister tells me that this is her favorite name and I better not use it on any of my kids. Well now we're expecting a girl and it's one of our top picks. I've felt a little guilty, but we've decided that if we pick that name, she'll have to live with it. She's 17, not married or even close lol so no kids for a while, and if she wants to use the name too, she can.

If she's not even pregnant, much less with a girl, then name your hold whatever you want. If she loves the name it could be used as a middle name

I voted before I actually read your post.. oops.
I have since changed my mind after reading your full post. No you did not steal it from her, and chances are by the time she actually gets pregnant she'll either of completely forgotten about the name or won't like it anymore. I always go through phases of what names I like/dislike as did my best friend when pregnant both times.
I think it's normal to like different names at different times. But it's not normal for someone to get snotty about the name that you have chosen for your daughter after you thought of it first anyway!
By the way it's a beautiful name, I think you should use it ☺️

She isn't pregnant... I mean anyone might name their baby anything. Idk why it would even be an issue. By then, she may not even WANT that name...

Just my opinion...You actually have a baby, she hasn't even got pregnant yet, dont feel bad! My cousin used to fight with everyone over the name Asalee and said none of us(cousins) was to use that name because when she had a daughter thats her name-she never had kids and never will. Name your child whatever you want to! And if she does have a girl and she still wants to use the name she can! We have 3 Joshuas in our family, 2 kaylas, and 2 Addison-Kates, it's not really anything to feel bad about, theyll grow to be their own persons and stand out from one another. Plus she may change her mind when she does get pregnant.  (Excuse my horrible grammar 😂).

I didn't read it before voting either sorry. She has no place to ask what you're naming your baby then dictate what you can or can't use. She may never have children let alone a daughter so I think you should name your daughter whatever you want. 
My sister would do something similar except she's due 4 days after me so we aren't announcing our babies name to anyone except close friends and relatives that know not to tell anyone. 
She sounds like a selfish brat.

I voted yes before reading what you wrote.. In this case I would say no as it is not a name she has come up with, it is still a name you chose and then she decided she liked it. (Sorry if this makes no sense lol)

Names aren't property. They can't be stolen. 
We accidentally named our newborn a name that apparently my BIL and his wife, who are not pregnant, wanted to use. It caused some drama, but I had a baby first 🤷🏻‍♀️ And she still plans to use the name. 
Name your baby whatever you want.
