A bit worried...anyone else?

Question

My 9 month old keeps clicking his bottom and top teeth and I'm worried he might crack them. I can literally hear his little teeth clicking throughout the day. Anyone else have this issue? Should I be worried? Advice?

First, I don't think he can click them together hard enough to crack them, teeth are crazy strong. And second, even if he could, they're baby teeth and are going to fall out to be replaced eventually. I personally wouldn't worry about it but if you are worried and need some assurance, bring it up to his doctor. They can give you some more solid information on what is and isn't possible here. 👍🏻

My nephew and my bil (he's a baby), both grounded their teeth ruthlessly for weeks- their teeth are fine. Don't worry too much.

My son does the same thing and it drives me nuts! If I make a sound or tell him no, he does it even harder. I was told that it is completely age appropriate and they will often do it because it's a new sensation. My son grinds his teeth so loud that I can hear him in another room! I would think if it hurt them they would stop. I hope it stops for the both of us soon!
