Anything with wood or opals is what I think I'd prefer to get. But I think it's romantic for the guy to pick. (My mom picked out a horseshoe shaped ring for my dad set with diamonds, passed onto me now and I love the story behind it. Sorry for rambling lol).

I got mines😊 but let me tell you with a pearl you have to be careful I've gotten my ring sent off about 3 times because the pear fell off....to the point where I started glueing it back on myself...this last time I sent it off I haven't had any problems since ....Kay's jewelers

I don't want a ring. I'd rather have an exotic vocation. But I would love to get something symbolic for my engagement. I would be perfectly content if he split the stem of some common little flower and fastened it around my finger. Or a few flowers. Like this
