Do you think she's being reckless?

My mom was supposed to go to Florida on Monday, we told her she shouldn't because of Irma. Today she found out her flight has been cancelled and now she's planning on going Thursday! Like, woman your flight was cancelled, there's a hurricane and sure to be some chaos, but you're still going... do you think she's being reckless about this?
I love her very much and I know she's an adult but I'm simply worried about her.

it depends on why she's going. if it's something important like work she probably needs to go, if it vacation she's better off waiting

There's going to be chaos, devastation, dangerous conditions (maybe not weather by that time but damage), lack of resources (food, gas, electricity, etc.), and displaced people; I personally don't think anyone needs to be there unnecessarily.

Answer

She is going to get something for someone else. It's nothing important. It's nothing worth her life. She's basically taking someone else with her down there to pick up something that neither of them own.
