Anyone on progesterone?

Anyone who was put in progesterone still taking them?? My doc said I'll be taking them until 3rd trimester!!

I was with this pregnancy and my last 2 as well. I as taken off of them at 12w. Doctor said by then placenta is taking over and I wouldn't need it.

Why are you supposed to take them til 3rd tri?

I'll be starting it next week and continuing through the 36th week. Doc estimates me to be 15 weeks now.

I was in them but started to ween off them at 15 wks.  I just had blood work done (17 wks) and my progesterone levels look good.

I took 400/day (200 twice/day) til week 15. Since then have slowly been weaning down. Am 18 wks and down to 150/day. Will be down to 100/day at 20 wk and will ask my perinatologist to stay on them through end of pregnancy (I have 1/2 a uterus, placenta produces low Papp-a, 2 previous m/c, etc.)

Yep! I've been on it since I tested possitive at like 4 weeks. I really like that it helps me fall asleep at night.
