How to tell students I am pregnant??

I am 17 weeks pregnant and plan on telling my second graders that I am pregnant at 20 weeks. I am wondering if anyone has good ideas of how to tell students? I can't wait to tell them!

In my class we played hangman. I used their spelling words in short sentences. The last one I did was "Mrs.K is pregnant!" Since you're kids are young you could do "your name is having a baby!"

How sweet! I bet they'll be over the moon. I didn't really worry about telling my students, but only because they're in college and can figure it out on their own. :)

I did am inferencing activity where I gave them picture clues: a pink and blue heart, a calendar with my due date, etc. they then had to write what each picture could mean.

I teach 5th grade and gave my students sour patch kids. They had to guess why I had selected that as a treat. ;)

I didn't do anything special to announce, but I did mail them all baby announcements when my oldest was born in September since they were no longer in my class.

I just told my 2nd graders today! My bump is now sticking out! They are so excited! We are graphing now so I am going to let them tally what they think the gender will be and then graph it. I find out gender on the 20th!!

I'm trying to keep mine hidden for as long as possible with only starting a new job in January! I'll finish this academic year with the kids then come back in February for the next class!
