low fluid on one of my twins

Suntell

Hi all you wonderful twin momies! I guess I am new to the board and am looking for any advice as you guys know the most about what to expect and your experiences are valuable to me! So I am 24 weeks pregnant with di/di boy twins. This is my first pregnancy and I was truly blessed when I found out twins. Unfortunately at about 20 weeks I was informed that o e of my twins was measuring small and also had low amniotic fluid. At that point they had treated me like I was going g to loose not only the smaller baby but the bigger baby as well I was devastated.! Weekly ultrasounds now is the plan which believe me I appreciate that they are monitoring close but I have to say from that moment on it completely changed my pregnancy. I worry every day now, I am no longer happy more scared thus I'm really not enjoying my pregnancy. I panic at each hours ultrasound wondering if there will be heartbeats on both babies. It was a win just to get to 24 weeks and now I look ahead to 28. I have faith in God and do believe he can protect and work miracles but cannot help to feel scared on a human level. I keep asking myself. what I did or how this happened? I have been checked 2 times with no sign of rupture of membranes thank God! I guess I am wondering has anyone had an OK outcome with this, I mean I am realistic, I k ow I will most likely not carry to term and I k ow it is very likely we will have a long haul in the nicu, it just would be nice e to hear some type of positivity or hope! Thank you all so much! And I hope everyone despite my outcome has beautiful pregnancies!
