opinions???

i was on the pill for a few month (2). it made me bleed for weeks break out horrible all the time and made everything go weird. i need to get in a new one and i'm going to the doctors soon to talk abkut it. but wondering what kinds you guys take and the effects of it? i really don't wanna break out all the time, bleed or gain weight.

Ok, here is the deal.
1. You need to stay on your pill for at least 3 months. You're going to experience possibly bad side effects from it in the first 3 months. If it doesn't stop after that point, THEN you can switch your pill. Many times the symptoms reside after 12 weeks, you just have to give it time. I get it's hard and you want to give up, but that's not the right thing to do.
2. Every single person who takes the pill reacts to their pill differently. I could tell you which pills and I like and didn't like, and it would be COMPLETELY different for you because we are totally different humans with separate body's. There's no use in asking anybody else which they recommend, because 8/10 that is not going to be the same experience for you. Instead, ask your doctor. Tell them what you didnt like about your previous pill and they will give you one aimed to not have those bad symptoms that will work for your body.

I take ortho tri-cyclen. my worst side effects was a ton of water retention the first month but it went away after that! It does make me a little more emotional (crying for no damn reason) but I've honestly haven't had any major issues with it. cleared up my acne and regulates my period.
