The struggle.

Kristen • 👰🏼6/24/17 💍 6 years 🍼TTC #1 for 6 years

Me and my husband have been ttc for months. I took a test and got a vvvfl. Went to the doctor for urine and blood tests. Both came back negative. Went again after my period was about 4 weeks late nothing. Finally went to an obgyn and had her do some blood work and a tv ultrasound and and high testosterone. My level was 57 and normal is 48 or under. I got put on spironolactone for a month which I cannot get pregnant on to lower my levels. My period finally came while being on it for 2 weeks (hadn't came in 77 days). I'm finishing up my med. in a couple days, get redrawn to see if my levels are down, and if so I can ttc again. If not another month of medicine. In the meantime 2 of my friends just had babies and I am head over heels excited and happy for them but they don't know how much I wish I could be as lucky as them. I have been depressed lately and have actually went to buy baby items to make myself feel better. I am ready for this ever long battle to end and finally hold my own baby in my arms.
