It's going to be our 6month anniversary soon, and i always see how girls get super excited and buy amazing gifts for their boyfriends. i feel like 6months is not worth celebrating, or am i being cold

well for our 1st month i gave him a picture and a letter and he serenated me on valentines day (2 days prior to first month)

I told my boyfriend we celebrate holidays, and yearly anniversaries, and that's it. (Birthdays count as holidays). And even that is too much to him 😂 we celebrated our 1 year a month ago and it was fantastic. I did all the monthly/half yearly thing back in high school because you were lucky they lasted that long. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My brother does monthly at this rate with his girlfriend and he's broke every month because of it. I'd rather just go big once a year. Just my opinion though.

When my husband and I were dating and even now, rather than buying gifts we'd just make it a point to go on a date (usually out to our favorite restaurant) once a month around our dating anniversary. It's not really to celebrate but more so making sure we take time for each other.

I bought my boyfriend a birthday present when we were at 6 months. But we also live together so. And we didn't celebrate any "anniversary". We will be together 7 months next week
