VBAC?

Question

How many ladies had a successful vbac?

I'm due November 2015 which will be exactly 3 years after giving birth to my daughter via planned csection due to her being too big.

I am open to having a second csection if this pregnancy  faces the same issues but otherwise, I would love to try vaginal birth!

How many of your VBACs were successful and if not, what went wrong?

My first baby was c-section due to " slow to progress"  & I have had 2 vbacs since. Last labour was quick with no pain relief at all and baby # 4 due in 4 weeks & hoping for natural home birth with little or no intervention - you can do it!! Recovery much quicker with vaginal birth :) good luck to us all xxxx

I just had a successful vbac yesterday! It was hard because I was overdue and my doc wanted me to go ahead with another section but I was firm and patient and baby boy came 10 days past his EDD on his own with NO medical intervention or meds. Labor was not nearly as bad as I expected (never went into labor with the first- he was 10 days late and they just basically forced me into a section) and I pushed him out in less than 4 mins thru 2 contractions! It was so nice to not need narcotic pain meds or have to stay in bed in the first 24hrs after birth. The endorphins that come with a natural birth r awesome and better than ANY drug out there!!! I was in labor for a total of 30 hrs, which started in the middle of the night so I lost 2 nights of sleep. However after delivery at 10am I could barely take a nap at 230, I basically had to force myself knowing that is what is best for me. The recovery on this delivery has been so much better. I still haven't needed any serious pain meds, although I have taken a couple of 800mg Motrin because of course my vag is sore. If u want a vbac, I wish u the same success!

I had a successful VBac 3 1/2 years after my first child. It was awesome to be able to experiance both.

I had a c section 3 years ago for the same reasons and have been advised afainst a vbac. I've also done lots of research which is what I would reccomend to you. I'm happy planning a day and going in to meet my baby😊

I'm due August 3- it will be just over 2 years since my c section & my Dr is going to let me try for a vbac :)
