what is the most effective birth control?

my boyfriend and I typically use a combination of calendar method, cervical mucus method, pull out, and condoms(especially during ovulation). Even with this we still worry quite often, to ease our worry I made this poll to see which is most effective and if we're safe enough with all the methods we use.

Well, IUDs and implants are the most effective technically, short of sterilization. But I'd say you're doing pretty well if you're combining those methods. But I wouldn't trust just pull out and calendar, so I have an IUD.

Well I've been using the pull out method as I don't want synthetic hormones in my body, I don't want any risk of bleeding daily for months or having fertility problems in the future etc.. the pill made me crazy too.. I've been doing this for 2 years and I've been fine so far but I've been lucky!

I recently stopped bc my last cycle. I'm in the process of getting a diaphragm which is as protective as bc if used and put in place properly, human error is why it's percentage is so low. I think iud's are more harmful than their worth, and after 7 years I'm tired of my attitude on hormones. 
Currently we use condoms, on my non ovulation days we do start sex without a condom, but half way through it goes on, he rarely does pull out. That's like if we have shower sex or something, but around ovulation I am very strict about it being wrapped up before going in me. 
We're doing our best to avoid having a baby, tracking what your CM looks like also helps you determine how accurate this app is about your cycle
