Baseline scan and letrozole

I had a baseline scan yesterday on day 5 of my cycle. They saw two follicles, one at 7 and one at an 8. This is without medication. I then started letrozole 2.5 last night for days 5-9. I'm hoping this will result in ovulation at least. I was told that normal day 5 scans (in people without pcos) show follicles of at least a size 10. I had also been told a few months ago that I had a small endometrial polyp but they could no longer see it yesterday with a 3-d ultrasound. Does this scan sound promising? Anyone have a similar experience?
