measuring small?

hey guys, i went in for my weekly checkup and my doctor said i'm measuring a week behind, and wants to do a sono in a couple weeks... has anyone else had this issue and what where the outcome? first time mom here, and freaking out...

omg so glad u have posted this I'm measuring at 23cm and should be 25 I think for 25 weeks but i was 24weks and 6 days and I have my growth scan on Monday and I'm worried sick! thanks Carla for the comment aswell that's reassured me..don't worry I am in the same boat as u hun ... xxx

I was in the same situation. I baby was smaller than what my initial due date lead on, literally 12 days behind. They just checked the baby, nothing was wrong, just small or just wrong due date. Don't stress

I was told this and had loads of extra scans saying baby would be born small..it was upsetting and stressful! my baby was born 9 days past her due date and was a healthy 8lbs 2ozs!! I wouldn't believe all you're told. good luck!

My first two pregnancies I kept getting told they were measuring small but they both came out healthy happy babies. Small to doctors is usually weight wise but heck I rather push out 5-6 lb babies then 8 and up like doctors want. As long as baby is healthy I'm good.

I'm consistently measuring 2-3 weeks behind. My doc said that it's nothing to be concerned about. There are a number of things that could cause you to measure behind! My son is real low. Position of baby affects it. They'll just give you an ultrasound and take measurements of baby, everything will be fine.

I got told the same thing so I had to have another ultrasound and turns out she was actually measuring a week ahead

I was measuring small too and they sent me for a few ultrasounds. It turned out My little girl stopped growing around 34/35 weeks so they induced me at 36 weeks and she was 4lb 13oz but was very healthy. Came home 6 days later, only stayed the extra days because she had a touch of jaundice. She's now almost 6 weeks and is 6lb 5oz. Good luck hope everything turns out ok x

I measured 3-4 weeks behind my whole pregnancy. I carried my babes to 39w5d and I delivered a 5lb6oz baby. He was small which explains me measuring behind but he was healthy and came home with me two days later.
