I Need Advice......

I like this guy who is in my English and history class, and I have no idea if he likes me, so I was wondering if any of you had any insight/ideas about this. Last year, I had a huge crush on his friend (I've known his friend wayyyyy longer than him, and I'm over him now so there's no need to comment on that), but towards the end of the year I noticed him (the guy in my classes) looking at me so often, like walking to our next classes (we didn't have any classes last year), or during gym (we had it the same time with different teachers). I really like him now, he is funny, cute, and really smart. He still looks at me, but I don't notice it as much before, and we sit by each other. He smiles when I talk, but we haven't had a full conversation yet, and he usually never makes the first move to talk to me. Anyways, just wondering what you guys think. I notice his friend also looking at me in between classes and at breaks, but like I said, I'm over him. Do you think he likes me and his friend knows or do you think his friend likes me? I am so confused about this. No judging please. 😊😗
