Need serious help! Whoever had experience with cervidil and pitocin!

Monday I will be 41 weeks exactly, I'm being induced on Tuesday, my doctor told me I'm not dilating and my cervix isn't opening up, I'm stuck at 2-3cm dilated for a month now and my cervix 70-80% effaced. He said if I'm not dilated to 4cm at least by Tuesday then he will start off with giving me cervidil and then if that doesn't do it then pitocin. Please share your good/bad stories with either medicine!
