Cramping and discharge after ovulation?

Does anyone know what could cause thick jelly-like discharge (sorry TMI) 5 days after ovulation and light cramping, which isn't sore but noticeable. Period still isn't due for 9 days and I usually only cramp for 1-2 days before. Is my period going to come early or what could it be? I definitely ovulated 5 days ago and had sex during that time, so it definitely isn't ovulation. TIA ☺️
