Just a little background before I bitch.. I work at Dollar General and at our store in particular we have a large percentage of customers whom are handicap. I am, or at least try to be happy and upbeat because lets face it, who wants to deal with Mrs. Debber downer. I do my job, I greet everyone and help everyone I can with the door. Well. Lately I've been noticing what I think is favortism with my bosses... We had the big wigs do a surprise visit so I had to mid-shift stop my plan of action so I could "make the store look nice" well... the next day me and the cashier working that night got write ups for not getting the recovery done/ done right... boss failed to mention to our DM that it was because she had us start without enough notice ... but whatever I guess... Same DM, now its the other Ashley.. Its truck day, stores still not open after two hours and one of our vendors went to wake her up so she can come do her job, I come in because no one was there... DM just calls her to make sure shes okay... no write up, not even a "dont do that again"... but I got a weite up for not doing something I wasnt given enough time to do... Then we get customer survey comments... One basically bashes the store and mentions how no one but Ashley says hi and opens doors.. DM comes in again and says that comment wasnt about me, its about the other Ashley (who also minds you spells it Ashlee but it was Ashley in the comment) because shes been here for double digits in years... like oh.. considering they have openly said sometimes they "cant get to opening the door" I assumed it was me.. who always opens the door and is polite..but no Im sure its the one who just made a lady wait 7 mins to buy one thing so she could sit back here and tell me the comment was about her! I hate it!! Bitched at no matter if Im at fault or not.. gets in trouble even if im not at fault, but others have no limits to what they can do wrong and now theyre even taking my compliments from customers away!!
