Is this appropriate for the school to do?

Just like every other school, we do plays. Although this new one coming is has offended a ton of students and they have been getting complaints from parents and students, but as far as I know they are still going to continue the play.

It’s basically about Trump, except in the play he is another hitter and there is another holocaust. This offended many Jewish students, comparing Trump to hitler. My friends were talking to me about it on how they couldn’t believe the school could find humor in something like this. They told me that even though they didn’t like trump, comparing him and making him Hitler in the play was highly offensive as some of their ancestors were victims of the holocaust as well.
