At Home Septum 😱😖😰

My school is what some would call quirky. Kids here are constantly doing crazy things, but the craziest thing is the new trend among the freshman to give themselves body mods. My friend decided that she wanted to get her septum pierced and had a freshman do it with a sterile hollow needle. However, another friend and I are concerned. She says it hurts a lot and that every time she moves it at a certain angle she can't stop sneezing. Should I be concerned? What advice should I give her?
