Thoughts?

Question

Currently 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I’m waiting , not by choice , to see an OB. I’ve been going back and forth with myself and my boyfriend about when to tell my family. My mom , stepdad and obviously my boyfriend are the only ones who know right now. I want to tell the world but I also want to wait until I’m out of the first trimester when the risks go down. I’m so conflicted.

I announced my first at 13 weeks and my second at 8 weeks! I plan on waiting until I know the gender with this one to announce!

We've told our family and some friends(ones who I have been talking to about how long we've been ttc). Tell people when YOU want to. Yes there is always a chance something will happen, but if it does you'll have the support of the people you did tell. I am also 5+5

Honestly waiting is best, it seems so many will announce and then they lose it.  Just think of it as a fun little secret and only you know about this amazing thing happening and once its truly time to share with the world, then they can be in on your lil secret. Also don't stress too much on OB, not much they can do in first try. it's only blood test and questions then around 9-10wks ultrasound. I personally am waiting till 13wks for any appointments only cause of past experience i had more stress with info from appointments than just letting nature take its course. 5th pregnancy and two live babies :) You got this girl!
