Birth Story

So I have some time on my hands right now. Soo i had an appt yesterday at 2:30pm to have a growth scan as my son was measuring small so they monitor him... so the doctor says we need to induce cus the placenta is not producing blood flow to the baby... got it scheduled for 8pm... left to get stuff ready & got back to hospital... they prepped me with the foley balloon til i was 4cm & it started getting uncomfy & i was wet so i thought it was my water they checked happened to be the balloon that popped so after removing it i asked for epidural around 4-5cm... it took 3 needles to actually get it into the right place due to scholiosis... so i laid down & waited for pitocin thinking hey this will be quick.. well i thought wrong the epidural was never set up just inserted to my back so i felt every painful contraction... i was 2 hours trying to get soneobes gelp but it didnt work when i finally got fed up & let the doctor know i need help NOW! Finally the guy came in & said we need to put a new at that moment i had the urge to push... the nurse tells me stop so they can check me which i was already at 10cm & baby head was crowning... so i laid down & pushed broke my water & he was born at 5lbs 2oz 18.5in long!!! & it was worth the pain i felt considering i basically had no epidural.... welcome little Tristan Jeovani
