Relationships & Breakups

I'm writing here cause I need help. I recently got dumped by my now ex. We dated for a month in 10th grade then stopped talking until senior year when he asked me to prom. Since then we dated all through summer and now are both freshman in college. He's in New Mexico, I'm in Virginia. Throughout our relationship (senior year) he cheated on me twice with his ex. I decided to still stay but I had major trust issues. He dumped me about 3 weeks ago because my trust in him was just too small and it really ruined the relationship. All signs point to, I shouldn't still like this kid. But I do. I don't know what to do, I know he's bad for me but I really like him. He blamed it on the distance that our relationship couldn't work but I feel like there is more to it (here's the trust issue again). How do I get over this kid guys 😩
