Drunk parents

So..

I live with my stepdad and my mom.

My stepdad's father is a drunk, alongside his wife.

And now my stepdad's following in his footsteps.

On the other hand, my mom doesn't get drunk.

Not until recently, anyway.

Last night, my stepdad (let's call him C) and Mom went to a friend's birthday party.

My mom said she wasn't going to get drunk.

My brother had to walk her home.

Now, before all this happened, my 10 year old sister and my stepdad were panning to go to a comic convention. She was so excited.

But C has a history of getting drunk on their plans, and cancelling.

It was 3am when my sister woke me up, saying how our mother was drunk.

I came downstairs, and she began to vomit.

We both took care of her, as C decided we could "handle" it, and went off to bed (he was also very drunk).

They say they're allowed to do this because they're "adults".

But, I really don't think a 10 year old child cleaning up her mother's vomit at 3am is right..
