Anyone had a UTI and it turned out fine?

Ive has a UTI for months and was on antibiotics a couple of weeks  ago but the dam dog got into them and I haven’t been back to the doctors and now ivehad to fly 8 hours away and won’t be back for 2 Weeks.  I’m 8 Weeks 2 days,do you think my baby will be okay or should I go to the ER??

I had a uti just as I found out I was pregnant the first time 11 years ago. It turned into a kidney infection quickly and I was hospitalized for a week. I wouldn't mess around with it if I were you.

You can probably get a prescription over the phone with the doctor you saw before, or find out if your insurance covers "virtual" visits. I would never go to the ER for a UTI (a lot of insurance companies would deny the claim as "non emergent" anyway) but a UTI in pregnancy can cause contractions and eventually has the potential to become systemic.

I would find a walk-in clinic or urgent care. There's zero reason to go to the ER.

Definitely find a walk in clinic to go to! Any kind of bacteria can make it to your blood stream and if it's bad enough can go yo the baby! I would definitely get out back on some antibiotics but I wouldnt go to the ER
