Becoming a surrogate for the money?

Question

My boyfriend and I live with his parents, and it's absolutely driving me insane! I cannot stand to live here any longer! 
I've talked to him about moving out countless times but he doesn't want to! He only wants to move out when we have enough money to buy a house. And at the rate there were going saving up money is going to take a long long time. 
So I thought about becoming a surrogate and carry someone else's baby.
My boyfriend is okay with the idea.

I'd like to know what you guys think?
Would you do it? Have you done it before? Any experiences?

Obviously it wouldn't be my baby and that money would be used for a down payment for a house.

So not worth it for the money alone. There is SO much more to it than what people see- hormone injections and essentially IVF, psych evals for you and your partner, and going through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery just to give the baby up- not to mention nervous bio parents giving you unsolicited advice and input on your pregnancy. It's HARD. I have two friends who have done it. It can be an amazing experience, but not without risks. Don't do it just for the money. Do it because you want to give someone the child they would not have been able to have otherwise.

Living with your SO's parents has got to be stressful. Adding someone else's baby into the mix doesn't seem like it would help things.

I couldn't do that. Even tho the baby wouldnt be yours it would still grow Inside you and you will probably grow to love that baby.

You have to have all kinds of qualifications to become a surrogate. 
Including having your own healthy full term baby first. Just proof that you can infact carry a baby. 
But why does it matter if she's doing it for the money? If she understands what she is doing why stop her? If I couldn't carry my own baby and someone wanted me to pay them to carry my baby and stay healthy during her pregnancy that's all I need from her. I don't need her to have my idealistic moral intentions. If she's willing to do it and do it right I'm in.

1. You have to be 21
2. You can't be on any form of welfare
3. You have to be raising one child f your own that you gave birth to (not adopted)
4. You will be tested for psychological problems/disorders 
5. You cannot be smoking or drinking.

These are the basic guidelines for being a surrogate on MOST surrogate services. Even if you went privately you'd have a hard time finding a doctor willing to help you if you haven't had any children yet because if you don't know how you will be when you're pregnant it's too dangerous.

There are plenty of other ways to get money for a house then becoming a surrogate mother.

Like working two jobs..
I think becoming a surrogate mother just for the money is a little crazy.
You will be carrying a baby for 9 months that you have a chance of being attached too. Your body will change.. there so many cons and pros.  Please do lots of research before going down this route

Have you looked into egg donation? If you're looking for something that will help someone have a child and you'll get money out of it you could try that. Or at least look into it. I'm doing it after I have kids if I can. The money I get from it will be used to start a college fund for my kids in the future.
