Salam! 
I am Tatiana, 17 years old and I have converted to Islam from Catholicism a few months ago now. My parents are Greek and Croatian (orthodox and catholic) and I chose to convert because I felt Allah calling me for years. Inshallah one day I'll be able to confront my parents about this and hope not to be disowned.... (fingers crossed).
This is such a beautiful religion, not ong have I became a better individual but feel more at peace and be able to finally identifiy myself to others without my religion not matching my heart.

I'm 27, in the UK. Started following the Muslim path at the beginning of the year, after a trip to Umrah. Just got back from Hajj. And I'm coming onto 7 months preggo after 2 losses. So Alhamdulillah, it's been a blessed year so far. Not one that I deserve, but I won't refuse any of it!
What is like practicing in Australia? If the other girls happen to read, I'd love to hear what it's like practicing in the US, too. Times are tough, man. May Allah Ta'ala make it easy for us all.

Walaikum assalam. I'm Destinee. I'm from New York. I'm Guyanese, Indian, and African-American. I reverted to Islam 3 1/2 years ago Alhamdulilah! I'm 21, and In Shaa Allah will be married for two years this December. I'm also a new mommy to a beautiful baby boy.

My heart is full and I am blessed praise be to Allah swt, but I long for sisters as companions In Shaa Allah I don't have many since reverting.

I'm Amina and 23 from the US. My dad is black American and my mom is Moroccan, but born and raised here, so I know nothing about my culture. 
I am currently single and maybe looking for my other half. I think for me one of my biggest struggles is staying on a path that pleases Allah. I don't want to stray from that, but it can be difficult especially because I am in a college environment.
