Living with an STD

Receiving my diagnosis was one of the most traumatic experiences. I have herpes, I get it genitally. It's not as bad as the stigma attached to it. I have outbreaks maybe once a year if that. My boyfriend also has herpes. We met on a dating site for people with herpes. I love him with everything in me, we have a great happy healthy relationship. He takes the medication to suppress his outbreaks, I don't.

Sometimes I just feel like if we ever break up. I won't be able to find someone else to love me. I feel like damaged goods. 😞
