In need of some help, tbh

Ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year and a half and he even lives with me now. I love him with all my heart, but we're honestly different. One thing is that he's not a very emotional or passionate person and that makes it to where he doesn't want to have sex as much as I do. And that really is a problem for me bc I'm definitely that type of person. Well, there's a guy at my high school that ive liked since ive met him in 9th grade, and we've been talking recently. I haven't kissed him or actually cheated on my bf, but I'm really tempted to because I like this guy and he says all the things ive always wanted to hear. Seriously. Although, I'm not 100% sure that he doesn't just want sex, and I'm not prepared to just throw away my relationship to sleep with this man once. I guess my question is is it worth it? Or should I tell my bf about all this and try to work through it again???
