Hyper ovulation after miscarriage?

Has anyone conceived twins/multiples after a miscarriage? If so do multiples run in your family? Please share your stories!

I conceived twins two weeks after a miscarriage (it was my second miscarriage). My dad is an identical twin but mine are fraternal so I don't think there's a connection there but still a coincidence! It's funny when you're pregnant with twins, everyone says "oh yeah they skip a generation!" But since my dad is an identical twin it doesn't matter since that's not hereditary.

I had a miscarriage in February. Had two prior pregnancies that went both went to term. 
After that loss we tried again ~6 months later. I found out at 9 weeks that we are having Di/Di twins! 
The only twins on my maternal side are 37 years old. They are my grandmother's sisters children.
