Month long periods!!!! 😲

OK so I've always had normal periods and I'd never had one last more then 6 days I always knew when it would start (give a day or 2 off on occasion) but about 5 months ago I skipped and I thought that was odd but I was under a lot off stress at work so I figured that was the cause, fast forward a month and I started on my normal timeframe......but it didn't stop and it wasn't like a normal period, I had maybe 2-3 random day of cramps and my flow was all over the place some times it was practically just spotting and then other times it was like the damn burst. It was nearly a month before it FINALLY stopped and then the next month it was back to normal but the month after that it started a few days earlier than usual and it was a lighter flow and a month later it's still the same, I don't have insurance and I can't afford to go see a Gyno right now. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop it?
