Any tips on moving out of your parents house?
I live in a toxic environment and plan to leave as soon as I can. I won't have any help and I'll be totally on my own, any tips for living on your own?

save as much as you can now, look on classifieds and garage sales for furniture plates, pots and pans the Dollar store for kitchen needs and such. Write everything down how much you make each month, things you pay for now. when you apartment shopping ask how much utilities are on average for a tenant and work that into your monthly budget. key thing now is to save every penny you can.

I’d try to find some creative housing (artist housing) nearby. They’ll generally ask to see some creative work you’ve done, and they’ll give you discounts on a condo.
Condo living can be a bit more expensive, but also cheaper in some aspects. I like t, and it was great to get out of my family’s house

I've been on my own for a year now and it absolutely is not easy. Everything you do will become about money, you have to be on top of cleaning up after yourself, and there's a lot of money involved in furnishing an apartment, let alone the rent and the deposit as nearly every apartment requires last month rent with the lease signing, and sometimes even the application.
