HELP! Anyone with similar migraines?

Tarynn

For about 6-7 years I've been getting these awful migraines and no doctor has been helpful. I am currently 19, I am on Zoloft and I have the nexplanon implant. I have been on normal birth control pills, prozac and multiple migraine medications. I've tried sumatriptan, naratriptan, propranolol and many others. Usually it'll start out as a small headache and within a few hours it'll get worse and worse until I can't do anything. I get them at home, at work, if i'm stressed, if i'm relaxed, whether i'm on my period or not, morning, evening, sometimes I even wake up with them, I can't find any pattern. The only common thing with all of them is the pain. I'll get terrible neck pain, pain/pressure behind either both or just one of my eyes, jaw pain/jaw clenching and either one sided or all over pain in my head. I get nauseous and will vomit until I have nothing left in my stomach and even after that. I get dizzy sometimes, the light and sound hurts, and my head feels like it's going to explode. My motor skins sometime slow down as well and words are difficult to say and my sentences become a little jumbled. Usually the pain is throbbing and pulsating. Like I can hear the migraine just thumping in there. They become so debilitating that I have to sit in a dark, silent room for hours and just cry until they go away. Sometimes having my neck massaged while I have them is helpful, the pressure seems to help. Ice packs or hot baths will also help for the time being but once I stop, the migraine is just as bad as it was before. All the relief seems to be temporary. I'm currently taking cyclobenzaprine and it doesn't seem to help at all. The only thing i've found that helps is heavy pain pills like hydrocodone because sometimes it makes me sleep through the migraine. They usually last anywhere from 2-72 hours. The worst i've had was 4 days. The long ones usually do this thing where they get really bad and then go into a lull of just bad headache and then back up to the unbearable pain and then repeat for hours. I get them the really bad ones 2-3 times a month and the "bad but not unbearable" ones usually 1-3 times a week. It gets to the point where I want to rip my own eyes out and stab my head with a screw driver. The eye pain and upper neck/lower head pain is probably the worst part. I've tried medications, massage, acupuncture, meditation, dietary changes, different birth controls, sleep changes, mouth guards, preventative medication, medical marijuana, i've tried so many things and nothing helps and it makes me feel hopeless. I have an MRI on Friday and part of me hopes they find something so that I at least have an answer. It's starting to worry my boyfriend and family because when the small headache starts I have to take like 4 ibuprofen to try and catch it before the bad migraine starts and then I have to take more medication once the migraine starts and it's terrible for my body. Any comments are appreciated, advice, criticisms, comments about similar migraines or other things with similar symptoms. I just want to know what other people think because my doctors are at a loss of what to do.

UPDATE: I should be getting my MRI results tomorrow or tuesday!
