Help a girl

I need to change my chain of thought, so me and my SO are trying for a little miracle and have been together 2 years. I just sold my house so we could build together so it felt like ours and not my house. If we're doing alllllll this why has he not proposed already ? Like if we're having a Bub together and building together why can't he commit that way ? Itsso silly and I'm so just being a girl and over thinking everything I know but I hate it, I can't wait for that special moment of surprise of turning around to him being down on one knee but if it's years and years later I feel like the excitement of being proposed to will be nearly lost as you're kinda just waiting for it and it won't be shock.. I dunno anyone know or have any ideas why his waiting so long to commit that way ? Help a girl that's due for her period and is being a sensitive sally and overthinking everything think of why it's taking him so long to make me officially his..

Ps - his not someone who doesn't want to get married I know its on his want list in the future.

Psps - like I know we're trying for a Bub and about to build but it sillyly makes me feel like his still not 100% I'm the one...
