Misccaried bit didn’t know I was pregnant?

I don’t really know how to feel right now.

I tested a day missed period and it came back negative. Period never came and was waiting (per dr orders) until 8 weeks late to get a blood test.

At 7 weeks late I was experiencing serious cramping and start to bleed. Assuming it was AF I put a tampon in. Upon changing the tampon (super that was full with bright red blood after only 3 hours which is rare for me. Typically I bleed light on my period for 3 or 4 days and done) the tampon came out but so did a TON of excess globs of tissue. Still experienced pain and tissue for another couple days and then it was gone.

I have gov assisted insurance so my OBGYN works for multiple clinics and I can only speak to her on Tuesdays and Friday’s. Yesterday was Tuesday and I called and explained all this and she told me it sounds like I had a miscarriage but that since it’s been a few days since it stopped no need to come in.

I feel a little in shock and also sad. We were NOT trying to TTC at all but would have welcomed it happily. Advice?
