I think I lost my mucus plug???

I’m 39 weeks today went to the doctor for my weekly visit.

I’m 50% thinned out and still a fingertip dilated.

Doctor thinks I’m gonna go over my due date😩

It hurt more this time when she checked me then last time.

Went to the bathroom had a brown mucus thing with some pink in it. Wiped on the toilet paper there was brown mucus with bright red on it. Could it be discharge?

I’ve been having some mild cramping since that happened could that be contractions??

This is my second pregnancy but it’s been 7 years since my last baby I feel all new to this o never experienced anything like this work my last pregnancy. Please HELP!!
