Breech baby @ 39 weeks ??

Question

Been to see midwife this morning and baby has moved and is now breech,I'm 39 weeks and measuring slightly bigger than I should be....
Can't help but worry...mentally prepared for labour 
Now to be thinking I may have to have ceaserian ...anyone had a ECV at 39 weeks? Or at all ? 
First baby n worried sick now...as don't know what to expect..... 
any advice or info greatly appreciated :)

I had a successful ECV right around 39 weeks, I'm blocking out the memory of the exact timing!
It was pretty bad but I can only imagine that it was better than c section recovery, it is surgery after all. I'm so thankful that mine was successful, just talk to your doctor about whether or not you're a good candidate and I would say go for it!

My son was footling breech until 36w. 
Then he turned head down.
He turned again at 38w and went breech again.
Turned back head down at 40w.
I didnt have an ecv but its an option.

Just wondering what the cons of having ECV are surely turning a baby at 39 weeks can't be natural? I just don't understand it? I know it's painful at 36 wks Iv been told -surely a bigger and further on baby to be turned would be unreal pain wise? X

Yes baby's movements can be so uncomfortable ATM but I thaught it was her feet/toes....it's obv not its head n shoulders...it's a weird feeling not painful just so uncomfortable... n yes see what they say tmorra at emergency scan :)

My son was breech from 28 weeks til i gave birth at 37 weeks 6 days. I ended up having a c section. after delivery the doctor told me that he was stuck in my ribs. Everything will be okay either way! Your baby might flip at the last minute. My doctor told he had a patient that her baby did that.
