How to take the criticism?

Hello there, we are currently pregnant with baby number four! I have read and heard a lot of people say that people seem to be very rude when they hear you're on baby number four. I'm just curious if this has happened to anybody else, we have not announced our pregnancy yet but apprehensive about some of the comments we might hear.

I’m pregnant with my second child and people keep saying to me “well maybe it’ll be a girl so you can stop right there”
I just ignore them and when I tell people I actually want a total of four kids they give me dirty looks and say “why would you want that” “what are you crazy” just ignore people everyone always has something to say about everyone’s life

It's nobody's business but you and your husband's. People can be so rude. Wanting to interfere with other people's reproductive choices! Next time tell them, "my body, my choice!" Ignore them completely, mama.

Honestly, I would call them out (in a respectful way). I would calmly explain that it's very rude for them to comment on how many children people should have. Tell them that different things work for different people.

I'm pregnant with #3 and my family is already making comments. I just ignore it, they dont get to say how many kids I have. They keep telling me that this has to be our last etc. My hubby and I are on the same page and thats all that matters.

When my husband and I told my parents I was pregnant there just like ohh cool really hopefully it's a boy ( all there grandchildren are girls except for one boy ) they were so happy but when we told his mom and all she said was gawd another one 
this is going to be my third baby

Thank you,  I'm sure people will have their choice of words but  for us we've wanted one more for sometime now and it was our choice to get pregnant plus we aren't really in the situation where it's going to be a struggle for us we can afford to have another baby. Our kids will be 11, 7 and 5 when this baby is born sometimes I wish we would have done it a little bit sooner but either way we are excited and the naysayers can just blow off!

my husband is one of 13.. his mother is 43 with 13 children. she gets criticized constantly... however, I've always really admired her for it. you're gonna be just as great of a mother to baby no.4 as you were/are to all the others! everyone else just doesnt understand. dont let them steal your joy!

We’re also on baby number 4, and we have a huge gap between my current youngest and the new baby (will be 8 years). We haven’t told anyone yet, mostly because it’s still early. When we do, I honestly don’t care what other people say. We pay our bills, live on our own, support ourselves fully.
