how u make ur newborn fall asleep?

hi everyone. i have 3 weeks newborn. its so hard to make him sleep. seems he lim3s to sleep on my arms. some babies sleep on thier own some not, how u made ur newborn fall alseep? plz share ur experience and advice

Babies need to be held, they just spent 9 months warm and cozy in your womb, this is very normal baby behaviour. Until they're about 6mo old, babies are neurologically incapable of soothing themselves. Just keep holding and rocking him mama, swaddle him and lay him down once he's been asleep for a couple minutes, since it doesn't take long for them to get to deep sleep. Good luck!

at three weeks baby slept eitger in my arms, my partners arms or a swing. they are little, enjoy the cuddles.

I rock my daughter to sleep when we go down for the night. She goes in her cosleeper and most nights she's been sleeping well in there so I'll put her back in after feedings. The last couple days she's hit a growth spurt so last night she just wanted to snuggle and eat all night! So that's what we did! I figure she just came from being warm and cozy inside my body listening to my heart and is now in a big cold confusing world, the least I can do is hold her and keep her snugly ☺️

My glider chair, being held and white noise and nature noises. At that age. Once she was asleep I put her down in her bassinet and she would sleep good  for a while.

Try to stop holding him so much. I did that with my son and he did the same thing. I stopped doing that let him lay and cry for about 5 minutes and if he kept doing it I’d pick him up but I’d repeat it until he didn’t need me to hold him. Also white noise really did help me.
