Diagnosis 😔

I was at my gyno on Monday to do a med check so this wasn't an actual physical or PAP. I asked him about some sores that I had in my nether region. I opted to have blood work done because he suggested that it could be a few things.

He called me today that results had come back as herpes type 2. I am so sad right now. My husband and I have only ever been together so I cannot fathom how I got this. He's working out state right now and will be home tomorrow - I am so devastated to have to tell him this.

I'm praying that God uses this somehow because a couple who saved themselves for marriage is generally not supposed to have to worry about an STI.
