My poor only child

Ok I need to vent!!!

I recently bought a basal thermometer as I was told it would help to track ovulation. The thing didn't even turn on so I planned on exchanging it tonight after my son's soccer game. So the game was over and we get in the car, the thermometer was on the front seat so my son, 10 years old, grabs it and starts laughing nervously while looking at it and says "omg mom! You're pregnant?!" I said no baby it's just a thermometer, and my poor baby's eyes got so watery I wanted to cry! He said "oh.....I thought you were trying to surprise me" I can't explain to people who aren't in my situation how this feels. My son wants nothing more than to be a big brother, he cries and cries about it, it is truly heart breaking. I try to be patient and truly believe god's timing is always better but this is so hard and discouraging some times 😢😢😕😕
