so I'm currently 35 weeks 5 days and doctor just told me baby is approximately 5 pounds 8oz is that small or how big was everyone's baby around this time??

Estimates are not very accurate even on an ultrasound so don't be too concerned

My baby was estimated to be 5lb 6oz when I had an ultrasound at 34w 3d.  The doctor was not concerned by the weight and said it was within normal.  I ended up delivering at 37w 2d and he weighed 7lb 2oz.

I just had an ultrasound when I was 35 weeks exactly and they estimated our little one was 5 lb 5 oz so I'd say that's pretty normal!

At 30 weeks baby was 3lbs 10 oz and then at 36 weeks he was only 5 lbs 13oz and my OB said he's measuring perfectly. Estimated weight of about 7 lbs when he's born.

I feel like these estimates have been off more than they've been accurate for most of my friends, often by nearly 2 lbs at birth.  try not to worry if your doc isn't

Normal! I had an US at 32 weeks and they guessed she was 4 1/2 lbs. If you estimate they grow half a pound every week it would be close to your estimated weight at 35 weeks.
