Latch problem?

Hi!

My LO is 9 weeks. I didn’t introduce a pacifier until about 6 weeks. He does really well with the pacifier but I’ve noticed that when he’s nursing, sometimes he’ll make a really loud noise that isn’t quite a click but it’s almost like he’s trying to suck really hard and it breaks the suction. He doesn’t actually come off or break his latch that’s just what it sounds like. Could this be because of the pacifier? Any ideas/help would be appreciated!
