Why do doctors do this???

I understand they are just people (very educated rich people) 😂 BUUUT, why do they have to get your hopes up? Don’t tell me you’re very positive this baby will come before my due date and that you doubt I’ll make it to my next appointment (on due date) when you know very well that there’s a big chance he won’t!!!! I am now two days away from my due date and no baby, no signs of baby coming!! Now, I know anything can happen between now and then, but I’ve been keeping my hopes high on the DL just because of this one comment my doctor made! 🤦🏻‍♀️
