UPDATE: pantley pull off

Da

So I took the leap for this mornings nap and did the pull off... I fed her on one breast first then changed her bum and did the rest of the routine and then put her on the other breast and I pulled her off once, she re-latched but I did it again and put her down in her crib... she's been sleeping for an hour and a half!!! By herself!!! In her crib!! Thanks ladies!!💙💙💙

Alright ladies just a little bit of a celebration before my question... I successfully transitioned my baby from needing to be bounced to falling asleep/nursing in my arms while walking a bit then I sitting down... I'm super proud of myself 🙌🏼

So here's our next step... to get ready for daycare I need to get her to not nurse completely asleep as the problem right now is that she wants to nurse for her entire morning nap. Now I've been reading the no cry nap solution and she suggests doing the pull off which is basically when you unlatch baby when she's no longer actively sucking and not fully asleep and then do the pantley dance to get her in the crib... I'm excited to try this but a) I'm scared it'll hurt our nursing relationship ie cause a nursing strike if I don't let her comfort nurse and b) is this a gentle enough method? She says to let them nurse if they cry but... I'm a suck.. 😊

I'd love to hear anyone else's experience who's successfully done this and how it worked for your baby... thank you!
