Anyone knows about military doctors?

So I'm getting my 20 week ultrasound this Wednesday and I'm going to get it done at the radiology department vs. at my obgyn office. Do you know if they will tell you anything at all about the baby or do they keep quiet the whole time? I went once before early in my pregnancy and I asked her some questions and she said you'll have to ask your doctor 🙄. So I'm at least hoping they will tell the gender or give me pictures. Anyone knows how it usually goes??

When I had my 20 week scan it was at a radiology department as well. I believe the ultrasound machines are more advanced/clear than the bedside ones that they probably use in your obgyn office. The process was about 30 minutes. She measured everything and told us what the different parts were...stomach, heart, liver, etc. we did not want to know the gender so she turned the screen away when she measured the legs. I’d assume she could tell you the gender then if you want to know. Your tech will literally measure and snap a picture of everything to check growth. At the end she went over everything. I don’t believe she could say if anything was good/bad, a doctor has to. Then she selected about 10-12 pictures to print and gave them to us. At my next appointment (which happened to be the next day) with the doctor he went over the results, said everything was perfect!

They will tell you gender if you want to know and they should give you pictures. If they don't just ask for them and I'm sure they will. We already knew gender before that appointment but they confirmed and they also gave us pictures as well but I suppose every technician is different so I would just ask if they don't tell you right away.
