has anyone had bv before and been told by your doctor to not wear tampons anymore? I'm not sure I can cope wearing pads, I find it gross, especially when I'm out. has anyone been told not to use tampons and used them anyway and it hasn't come back? 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Diva cup is the way to go. I'm not a fan of pads. But I have to wear them day 2 and 3 of my cycle because I'm really heavy and fill the cup too fast. So it protects from any leakage. But still it's much better than wearing just a pad. There's all types of soft cups out there to try and they last for years, so it's worth whatever cost you find. Not to mention it's a much healthier choice.

Don't do it. Talk to your doctor and see if a menstrual cup or organic tampons would be ok
