How to stop yourself getting excited??

This morning we booked our first doctors appointment and although it still doesn’t seem real and probably won’t until I have my baby in my arms, it actually feels like it’s happening. How do your stop yourself being excited before the three month point?

I don't. I know that there is an increased risk of miscarriage within the first trimester, but I don't think you should let that stop you from enjoying all of the little joys and milestones of that part of pregnancy. If something happens, you will obviously be devastated either way. I don't think stifling your happiness with prevent any potential heartbreak. Just try and enjoy this time

pregnant with my rainbow baby i lost my first at 16 weeks im now 4 weeks and 5 days and all i can think and talk about is my baby. no mater what happends this baby should be celebrated no mater the outcome. enjoy every part of it. dont make your self miserable by depriving yourself from being happy and excited about the pregnancy

Don’t stop your self be happy! When I went to the doctor I cried and this is my second! Be happy first trimester is a struggle but still try to enjoy it when you can! It’s a blessing

Me and my SO decided that we would announce right away and let ourselves get as excited as we wanted. While we have been fortunate to make it to almost 32 weeks and due in December, I was as prepared as I think one could be for a miscarriage. We wanted to whole heartedly enjoy our pregnancy even if that meant it was only for a few short days or weeks. It’s up to each person as every circumstance is different, but we have an amazing support system on both sides of the family. I was criticized for telling people early on, but at the same time these were people I felt like I could also share a miscarriage story with if our little bean didn’t make it. To each their own :)
